Determining the reasons for private schools prefance and a case study in TRNC

In this study, it is aimed to determine the reasons for choosing private schools in education process according views of parents students studying primary and secondary institutions TRNC. The effects physical conditions school, educational activities, artistic-sports-social cultural management academic staff characteristics, communication processes economic resources were examined. research, survey model, one descriptive research methods, was used. Parents 7355 at Turkish Republic Northern Cyprus, Primary Education General Secondary constituted universe study. 242 Nicosia, Famagusta, Güzelyurt Kyrenia sample group unit analysis students. Private School Preference Criteria questionnaire used study developed by Pulat (2019). scale consists a total 41 items. data collected with help scales analyzed statistical methods "Correlation", "Regression", "Kruskal-Wallis H" "Mann-Whitney U". most important enroll their children are belief that they will receive good English, better general, availability full-time as working parents.
